Fit analysis

The candidate possesses exceptional full-stack experience in modern JavaScript/React ecosystems and complex B2B SaaS architecture, which aligns well with the role's complexity. However, the lack of demonstrated C#/.NET experience is a significant technical gap for this specific job requirement.

Where you fit

  • Strong React/TypeScript Frontend Development: Engineered multiple user portals and storefronts using Next.js and React (e.g., SCP Corp LLC portal, Brooking Technologies headless storefront), demonstrating expertise in component architecture and complex UIs.
  • End-to-End SaaS Ownership: Developed Colony Watch, a real-time Rust/JavaScript platform aggregating telemetry from 1,800+ assets, proving ability to own features end-to-end across multiple layers.
  • Advanced Data Management & Integration: Proficient in integrating complex systems using GraphQL (Hasura) and managing data flows between disparate e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, Wordpress), ensuring data integrity.
  • B2B/E-commerce Workflow Expertise: Deep experience architecting high-conversion B2B portals, optimizing product configurators, and improving sales efficiency by 30% through API integration.
  • Database Proficiency: Strong background with PostgreSQL, including managing complex data models, billing integrations (Authorize.net), and ensuring accurate customer account management across multiple systems.
  • Infrastructure & Reliability Focus: Proven ability to design and implement scalable power/network infrastructure for iterative equipment rollouts while maintaining zero disruption to live production operations.

Where you may struggle

  • C#/.NET Web APIs: The job requires hands-on experience developing secure C#/.NET web APIs, which is not demonstrated anywhere in the candidate's resume. This represents a critical technical mismatch.
  • Seniority/Experience Level: The JD requests 8+ years of senior engineering experience; the candidate's professional history shows less than 6 years of core development roles.
  • AWS Cloud-Native Solutions: While infrastructure management is mentioned, there is no explicit evidence of building or supporting AWS cloud-native solutions using containerization (e.g., Docker/Kubernetes) or serverless approaches.
  • WCAG Accessibility Standards: The job emphasizes adherence to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards; the resume does not provide any evidence of auditing or implementing features specifically against these guidelines.
