Fit analysis

The candidate is a highly skilled full-stack engineer with strong front-end implementation capabilities in React/Next.js, which aligns well with the 'Engineer' part of the role. However, the resume lacks any demonstrated experience in the core UI/UX design process, mobile-first Android design, or proficiency with key tools like Figma.

Where you fit

  • Front-end Implementation (React/Next.js): Engineered centralized user portals and high-performance B2B storefronts using Next.js and React, demonstrating ability to build complex UIs for production products.
  • Data Visualization & Integration: Developed hardware device UIs displaying real-time stats (temperature, revenue) from data sources like blockchain nodes, showing experience building data-driven interfaces.
  • Working with Stakeholders: Experience integrating custom product configurators and managing B2B sales workflows required collaboration to meet specific business needs (e.g., achieving 30% improvement in quote accuracy).
  • Full-Stack Capability: Ability to bridge design concepts into working code using modern frameworks, which is crucial for the 'Designer/Engineer' hybrid nature of the role.

Where you may struggle

  • Core UI/UX Design Process: The resume focuses entirely on engineering implementation and lacks evidence of senior-level experience in the full design lifecycle (e.g., conducting usability testing, creating low-fidelity wireframes, or defining user flows before development).
  • Mobile-First Android Design Experience: While the candidate has built web portals, there is no specific mention of designing for native mobile applications or adhering to platform-specific guidelines required for a mobile-first product.
  • Design Tool Proficiency (Figma): The job requires proficiency in Figma; this tool and related design skills are not mentioned anywhere on the resume.
  • Angular Experience: While React/Next.js is strong, the role lists Angular as an acceptable framework, and there is no evidence of experience with it.
