Fit analysis

The candidate possesses exceptional experience in architecting complex, high-availability data integrations and B2B platforms. The primary gaps are the lack of explicit Python development history and hands-on evidence with specific AWS core services.

Where you fit

  • Integration Architecture: Proven ability to connect disparate systems using GraphQL (Hasura) and bridging multiple e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce/Wordpress), demonstrating mastery of complex data flow management.
  • High Availability & Scalability: Engineered real-time SaaS platforms (Colony Watch) for monitoring 1,800+ assets, ensuring zero disruption during large-scale infrastructure rollouts.
  • API Development & Protocols: Extensive experience integrating multiple third-party APIs and managing complex data structures across various channels, demonstrating strong understanding of RESTful principles.
  • Database Management: Deep proficiency with PostgreSQL and managing structured e-commerce data (product catalogs, variants, metafields) for accurate enterprise workflows.
  • Full Stack Development: Experience building high-performance B2B portals using Next.js/React and Node.js, confirming ability to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Infrastructure Management: Designed and implemented scalable power and network infrastructure, showing capability in managing physical and digital operational protocols.

Where you may struggle

  • Python Proficiency: The job requires 2+ years of production-grade Python development; the candidate's resume highlights Rust, JavaScript, and Node.js, but lacks explicit evidence of professional Python usage.
  • AWS Core Ecosystem: There is no demonstrated hands-on experience with critical AWS services required, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, ECS/Fargate, or S3.
  • Containerization: Practical experience building and managing Docker containers is a requirement that is not mentioned anywhere in the resume.
  • Domain Knowledge (Ed-Fi): Direct experience with the Ed-Fi Alliance data model or education-specific data standards was not shown.
