In this role, you will identify and define user/customer requirements, focusing on developing user interfaces (UI) across various platforms such as mobile, web, and tablets. You will be responsible for creating software components and services that interact seamlessly with upstream and downstream components, ensuring that business requirements are met through effective coding and programming. Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Application Designer and Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions. Your time will be spent on various responsibilities, including: Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring that the final product meets their needs. Designing and developing user interfaces that are not only functional but also enhance user experience. Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives. Regular travel may be required to meet with clients, providing you with the opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders. Skills And Attributes For Success To excel in this role, you should possess a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. Contribute to design and architecture investigations and decisions. Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software against aggressive schedules. Write clean, maintainable code, and perform peer code-reviews. Strong understanding of agile delivery and development methodologies. Proficiency in application development tools and quality assurance practices. Ability to build and manage relationships with clients, fostering trust and value. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas with clarity. To qualify for the role, you must have A Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree). Typically, no less than 2 - 4 years relevant experience. Experience building successful production scalable software systems preferred. Programming languages: 3-5+ years of experience with Java or C# Frameworks: 3-5+ years of experience with Spring Boot, .Net or .Net Core Nice to have: Experience with AWS or GCP A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals. Experience with unit testing or TDD. A team player possessing strong communication skills with staff at all levels. You are a self- and quick learner, regardless of the languages and technologies used. Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude. Ideally, you’ll also have A passion for delivering commercial software products and platforms to market Be deeply technical and constantly in a state of learning Able to communicate clearly and efficiently with a variety of audiences including developers, clients, customers, partners and executives Fearless in getting “hands-on” with technology and execution Strong understanding of modern software engineering processes Deep understanding and interest in cloud and distributed systems architectures Comfortable with ambiguity with a drive for clarity Experience leading and growing technical talent (for software engineering managers) Experience in complex problem-solving and critical thinking. Strong emotional agility and the ability to collaborate in hybrid environments. A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies. The salary range for this job is: New York City, Boston, and Washington DC Metro Areas, Washington State, and Southern California offices – $122,900 to $204,900 Bay Area California offices – $128,100 to $213,400 All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento – $102,500 to $187,900 Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
